Human Resources leads the implementation of the Group's people strategy in line with business objectives. It facilitates talent management, succession planning and employee mobility while defining and overseeing frameworks that support employee performance management, reward, learning and development, resourcing and engagement.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Graduate and Recruitment Manager.

Principal responsibilities

  • ​Oversees the planning and execution of the full spectrum of recruitment and development activities for graduates and interns across Global Businesses, Functions, and HSBC Operations, Services and Technology in Hong Kong
  • Works as the lead recruiter for Global Banking and Global Markets in Hong Kong as well as other key markets in the Asia Pacific region, managing the attraction, selection, and development of both graduate and internship programmes
  • Acts as the Asia Pacific point contact for graduate recruitment and development, working closely with both the Global teams and Country graduate leads in executing Group wide propositions across the region and managing local programmes
  • Partners with Business Heads and Graduate Sponsors to design and implement effective campus strategies in ensuring best caliber emerging talents are recruited while fit for purpose on programme development interventions are in place
  • Works closely with the recruitment teams to ensure attraction together with selection are conducted on a timely, consistent and cost efficient manner, while adhering to the necessary governance considerations and Global Standards
  • Responsible for campus attraction campaigns and social media marketing to complement on campus events and increase brand visibility as well as candidates engagement
  • Produces accurate and timely Management Information reporting for key business stakeholders, as well as other stakeholders across Human Resources at the Country, Regional, and Global levels
  • Takes part in Global and Regional projects as needed, which include but not limited to the design of campus propositions, assessment materials, marketing and branding campaigns, as well as the up skilling of recruiters and assessors.


Qualifications
Requirements
  • Experience of graduate recruitment and development preferred, especially with Investment Banking or Global Markets portfolios
  • Experience of working at a strategic level in international environments
  • Experience of working with first rate consultancies that set stretch benchmarks
  • Strong stakeholders and relationship management skills
  • Fluency in English is mandatory and the ability to speak local language is desirable
