We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Senior Manager, Brokerage Business Development.

Principal Responsibilities

  • The role is business development in nature and reports to Brokerage Business Development Head
  • Be a contact point for broker sales consultant to contact for daily distribution support
  • Maintain business relationships with various broker sales consultants
  • Drive business development plan implementation and execution
  • Pipeline case management - work closely with internal counterparts to manage and optimize the pipeline conversion
  • Implement optimal sales process to maximize customer or business partner experience
  • Work as a team with other account manager and functional areas to ensure optimal business outcome and customer centricity
  • Support on broker partner engagement, event planning, marketing activities, project or business initiative support and general MI

Requirements

  • Recognized insurance professional preferably holding relevant insurance professional qualification such as IIQE and/or LOMA
  • 8+ years’ experience in Insurance Broker business focused on product, business development or sales
  • Solid product knowledge in popular wealth insurance products with demonstrated experience of Life Insurance
  • Customer and quality oriented with demonstrated commitment to improving customer experience
  • Able to create a positive working relationship with the internal key stakeholders and business partners
  • Significant level of risk, sales quality and compliance awareness
  • Be a self-motivated, pro-active, self-starter with the ability to act and perform with minimal direction or instruction
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with high written and oral proficiency in English and Chinese. Ability to speak Putonghua would be an advantage
