Define operations best practices and to progress the implementation of operating model and process changes

Responsibilities:

  • Define operations best practices and to progress the implementation of operating model and process changes
  • Accountable for design and implementation of continuous process improvement across the operations in line with Securities Services design principles and best practice
  • Promote relentless focus on continuous process improvement and ensure the long term stability of Securities Services Operations is based upon sound operational efficiency and control principles
  • Specifically the role will have an advisory role to the functional heads on the optimum usage of existing and future processes, organisation structures and supporting technology
  • Lead the definition of, amongst others the service delivery geographical footprint, team structures and responsibilities, standard processes and determine automation opportunities
  • Act as single point of contact for relevant incoming initiatives associated with all types of change, including but not limited to regulatory, risk, client driven change
  • Pro actively support the execution of strategic projects that will directly impact the Service Delivery operations

Requirements:

  • Very strong operational experience in the financial services industry working directly on one or more of the functional areas of Fund Administration, Transfer Agency, Member Services, Global Custody, Treasury, Investment Operations, Middle Office and Shared Operations Services
  • Demonstrates a solid grasp of the technology and systems supporting the functional areas preferably with specific experience of the key applications used in the respective functional areas
  • Understanding of the changing nature of the operating environment due to internal and external demands
  • Strong organisation, multi tasking and time management skills
  • Team player, people motivator, leadership qualities
  • Strong interpersonal, collaborative and relationship building skills
  • Clear communicator, both verbally and in writing, with strong presentation skills
  • Preferably previous experience in delivering and executing small, incremental change in Business operations
