Senior Manager, Channel Marketing

Lead the competitive intelligence function in Marketing to monitor and analyze key competitors' activities in order to develop timely sales propositions for business development

Job Descriptions:

  • Develop strategies and manage implementation of company-wide competitive intelligence. Identify opportunities and threats for ongoing business planning.
  • Drives frontline awareness on latest market movements and identify best practices of key competitors for continuous improvements planning
  • Provide insights on the company's strengths and come up with scripts and sales pitch (product & non-product related) for frontline communication and business development
  • Partner with internal departments to collect market information and create competitive database for ongoing assessment and action planning


Job Requirements:

  • University degree of any discipline (preferably in business or marketing)
  • A minimum of 8 years relevant sales / sales support experience with multi-national insurance companies and/or banks and 4 years in supervisory role. Candidates with good track record of life insurance sales experience and strong product knowledge will be highly preferred
  • Market savvy with extensive network in insurance and/or banking industry Training experience is a great asset
  • Strong network in life insurance/banking industry
  • Good knowledge of life insurance products
  • Strong understanding on latest insurance/banking industiry trends (market intelligence exposure is highly preferred)
  • Result oriented, analytical minded and able to work well under pressure
  • Excellent communication skill with outgoing personality
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin is a highly preferred)
  • Familiar with MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint
