We are looking for a strong candidate to drive the development of new direct business opportunity from individual markets with strong ownership on goals of sales (acquisition and asset penetration), usage (multi-channels and touch points) and customer engagement.

Today we are the largest investment manager of ORSO member choice defined contribution schemes in HK and among the top MPF providers by assets under management with over 300k member accounts. Purpose of your role

The successful candidate will be responsible to drive the development of new direct business opportunity from individual markets with strong ownership on goals of sales (acquisition and asset penetration), usage (multi-channels and touch points) and customer engagement. This role should have strong business development expertise to define new distribution, sales and service model through direct and digital to differentiate our position and win in the rapidly evolving Hong Kong pension market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, lead and develop customer acquisition strategies through direct and digital channels on targeted individual markets to grow member base and business franchise
  • Undertake customer and market analysis to identify business opportunities and maximize asset penetration from existing members
  • Enhance customer loyalty and engagement to deepen member relationship, prevent members from churning and retain their asset
  • Develop partner and affiliate network to extend reach on potential market segments with optimized investment value
  • Enhance sales funnel of direct and digital channels to maximize sales conversion and improve customer experience
  • Develop data analytics and business intelligence to formulate initiatives and programs on driving individual customer acquisition and engagement activities
  • Own business goals with Profit and Loss accountability to maximize value to customer and business, and competitiveness in the marketplace
  • Assist the development of new servicing model to empower direct business and integrated self-service facilities
  • Support Hong Kong DC Propositions Director to implement and manage the retirement business and service propositions strategy
  • Mange collaboration across Marketing, Client Services, Change Management, Technology, Digital Solutions, Compliance teams, and external partners and affiliates on business development initiatives

Experience and Qualifications Required

  • 6+ years of experience in business development and customer acquisition related position, experience in financial industry would be an advantage
  • Experienced manager with a track record of introducing new business from retail markets through direct and digital
  • Priority focus on lead generation and a drive/hunger to win sales in the individual market sector
  • Knowledge in retail market and pension business, and understanding of individual customer behaviour is a plus
  • Excellent project management and coordination skills
  • A self-starter with high level of initiation and strong sense of ownership
  • An active team player with the ability to lead and inspire others
  • Innovative thinker with excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Local language skills including spoken and written Chinese as well as good communications in English
