Global Asset Management, the investment management business of the HSBC Group, serves HSBC's worldwide customer base of retail and private clients, intermediaries, corporates and institutions invested in both segregated accounts and pooled funds. Global Asset Management fulfills its purpose of connecting HSBC's clients with investment opportunities around the world through an international network of offices in approximately 30 countries, delivering global capabilities with local market insight.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Manager, HK Partnerships, Wholesales Business.

Principal responsibilities

  • generate work relationship and supporting the sales activities for Hong Kong Partnership Distribution channels including: Retail Banks, Platforms, Insurance Companies etc
  • Coordinating resources and staff to ensure Asset Management Global delivers a proactive, collaborative and high level of service
  • Contributing to the team effort in achieving sales and share of wallet targets in line with Annual
  • Operating Plans
  • Work closely and provide reliable sales, marketing and business development support for Hong Kong Partnership Distribution channels including: Retail Banks, Platforms, Insurance Companies
  • Originate fund briefings, market analysis, fund positioning, sales pitches and complete administration or any after-sales follow up as required
  • Contribute and enhance the sales performance of the Hong kong Partnership Distribution channels
  • Share key information to enable Asset Management Global to enhance its corporate knowledge and improve competitiveness across product, service and marketing.
  • Identify local & regional sales trends which Asset Management Global can capture to broaden business opportunities for the benefit of clients and Asset Management Global
  • Support Asset Management Global cross departmental collaboration to deliver a market competitive offer.

  • University degree or equivalent
  • Solid experience with a large asset management company, covering a diversified base of clients or other relevant investment related work
  • Previous experience in asset management is preferred but not a must
  • Ability to harness previous experience and market knowledge to reinvigorate activity and achieve best of class approach.
  • Apply business acumen in planning and execution, seeking guidance as required.
  • Utilize experience and market knowledge.
  • Ability to contribute positively to the Wholesale Team, for the benefit and success of all.
