Senior Network Engineer - IT (Network Infrastructure - Network Support) (12-Month Contract)
The successful candidate will become a member of the Network Operations - Network Support team and be responsible for production support of HKEX network infrastructures.
Job Responsibilities: - To evaluate and implement IT management solutions for digitalize network operations, such as configuration management, change management, asset management, problem management, etc.
- To adopt tools and systems, such as JIRA, Confluence to enhance operation tasks and productivity
- To implement network automation/orchestration for automated network devices configuration deployment
- To perform software development in the networking domain, including Python, YAML, REST and workflow systems
- To collaborate with network service providers and other parties on production support
- To maintain and improve security and operation compliance of network settings and changes
- To perform other network operations support tasks such as manage and monitor the healthiness of network infrastructures, VoIP network provisioning and troubleshooting
Job Requirements: - Degree in Computer Science/Telecommunications or related disciplines
- At least 7-year experience in design, implementation and support of large scale mission critical IP networks and Internet infrastructures
- Experience with DevOps tools, including Chef, Jenkins, Git and Linux
- Proficiency in programming using Python, Docker, YAML and REST
- Familiar with Ansible, Solarwinds, JIRA and Confluence
- Knowledge in security, networking and VoIP products such as Firewall, Routers, Switches, Load-balancers, IPT, VC, Call logger, etc
- Holder of Cisco Certified DevNet Associate, Docker Certified Associate, RHCE/CCNP/CISSP/CISA will be an advantage
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, independent, proactive
- Frequent work on weekend and/or irregular working hours is required
