Senior Relationship Manager, Remedial Action Team
Business Function Corporate and Investment Banking provides corporate customers with a full range of commercial banking products and services, including cash management services, current accounts, time deposits, trade finance, working capital finance, term loans and foreign exchange. Responsibilities:



  • Formulates account strategy with team head, client and other stakeholders on selected accounts with credit concern (accounts which are mainly from Watchlist/EAM and which have on-going business operations) to aim at protecting the Banks assets as primary purpose and to aim at normalizing account conducts and activities as secondary purpose.
  • Takes ownership of and manage a portfolio of these selected corporate accounts according to the above agreed strategy. These selected accounts are either identified by the Team or either by MUs.
  • Account management/ administration includes regular meeting with client, account monitoring (by review financials and other relevant information from client), annual and periodic account review (credit proposal writing and preparations)
  • Reviews the 'Watchlist' portfolio regularly with MUs for identifying accounts to be handled by the Remedial Action Team and discuss with MUs on account transfer.
  • Conducts the credit reviews for new SFGS fast track claims.
  • Minimizing financial losses arisen from accounts by monitoring account pro-actively, improving facility structure/ collaterals and imposing condition/ covenants for better control.
  • Meet clients frequently and review financials and relevant information for account monitoring
  • Complete account reviews punctually.
  • Report to team head immediately on account irregularities spotted.
  • Conducts the credit reviews for new SFGS fast track claims.

Requirements:



  • Credit (Credit Analyst/ Special Asset Management) or Marketing (RM) experience in commercial/ corporate banking for at least 3 years
  • Strong credit assessment and writing skill and credit mindset with high integrity.
  • Good liaison/negotiation skills with stake holders (including clients and internal stake holders)
  • Have experience in dealing with facility and security documents in Banks
  • Acceptable levels of maturity, resilience and attention to details, skilful in statistic works and good understanding on the market / industry knowledge and regulatory requirement.
  • Good command of English, Cantonese and preferably Putonghua.
