We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Risk Manager, Digital Originations Asia Pacific .

Principal responsibilities

  • Coordinating and facilitating the engagement in the Digital strategy from all Risk functions, ensuring that risk is properly recognised, assessed and mitigated, and risk management strategies, tools, policies and standards are in place
  • Coordinate across the Risk functions in the target Asia Pacific markets, delivering solutions to digital risk issues arising within each market and proactively identifying customer experience improvements
  • Work as part of the Digital Originations team as the Risk Manager, to develop, maintain and enhance risk and compliance controls that support Digital business objectives and risk appetite
  • Maintain and develop a subject matter expertise in the area of digital innovation for onboarding customers and subsequent emerging risks contributing to knowledge share among the cross functional group
  • Work closely with subject matter experts in each of the Risk sub functions, drawing on and facilitating specialised advice for new digital onboarding journeys, including exploration of real time anti impersonation solutions in Asia Pacific markets with vendors and viability from a risk perspective, working closely with Fraud and Financial Crime
  • Involve in the design and deployment of all products and services to ensure the Bank, and our customers, are secure and protected
  • Shape and influence digital risk controls, constructively challenging the status quo in search of continuously better ways to manage risk, including active engagement and understanding of local regulation and laws, and advocacy for digital friendly interpretation where needed


Qualifications
Requirements
  • Bachelor degree or higher
  • Significant understanding of Risk areas inherent in providing retail banking products and services to individuals, including the emerging Fraud, Legal, Information Security and Financial Crime risks inherent in mobile and web-based services
  • Solutions orientated approach and proven ability to constructively and practically support business priorities
  • Experience constructively challenging the status quo, particularly from a digital innovation perspective
  • Ability to identify, assess and break down the technical details of any digital solution from a Risk perspective, while understanding the overall strategic priorities and maintaining a focus on customer experience
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and experience of matrix, cross-functional and globally located teamwork
  • Experience and knowledge of web based services and technical expertise preferable but not essential
