Global Trade and Receivables Finance comprises over 4,500 people across more than 60 countries, helping suppliers and buyers with their export and import finance needs. Trade is where HSBC began in 1865, when we financed commerce between Europe, North America and Asia.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Vice President Global Trade and Receivables Finance.

Principal responsibilities

  • ​Structure complex deals across the whole range of Global Trade and Receivables Finance solutions
  • Provide technical expertise to front line business development managers
  • Assist in structuring of bespoke open account solutions
  • Ensure a high quality customer experience
  • Ensure a consistent operating model in support of front line business development managers
  • Meet and discuss with clients about factoring facility structure and manage client relationship on a daily basis
  • Conduct credit analysis, assess factorability on new facility applications, interim and annual reviews
  • Manage daily exceptions on invoice suspension limit control, daily funding drawdown endorsement, drawdown documents review
  • Manage buyer credit limit applications to insurers and import factors and counterparty limit applications


Qualifications
Requirements
  • ​University graduates with relevant commercial banking experience with basic trade knowledge
  • A demonstrated ability to business development with commercial banking corporate customers
  • Experience in a dynamic commercial environment with strong business development skills
  • Strong interpersonal, presentation and influencing skills
  • Ability to use Powerpoint, Excel and Word without assistance
  • Fluent in English, Cantonese and Putonghua
