We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Vice President Team Leader Business Banking Customer Due Diligence Commercial Banking.

Principal responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Relationship Managers to manage the financial crime risk exposure and de risking activities as well as the service and business environment of the assigned customer portfolio
  • Provide coaching and guidance to the team, ensure quality of works delivered by the team
  • Resources planning and oversee the overall team effectiveness Act as Subject Matter Expert in Business Banking on Customer Due Diligence and drive for smooth implementation of the Global Standards Customer Due Diligence Programme
  • Provide support to Division Head on formulation of strategies and optimization of customer due diligence process in order to effectively manage the business appetite and financial crime risk exposure for Business Banking
  • Provide business support on Know Your Customer and Customer Due Diligence training, act as subject matter expert for business escalation and referral


Qualifications
Requirements
  • ​Bachelor degree in Business related field, or equivalent experience
  • Proven background or equivalent experience, including extensive knowledge on the evolving regulatory and compliance requirements as well as on the Bank's products and services
  • Creative and with local market knowledge, as well as the corresponding span of control within assigned region
  • Ability to formulate business strategies, to coordinate and control a range of activities and make decisions independently
  • Ability to lead and motivate staff and to support teamwork, with a high degree of management skills
  • Strong organisational, analytical, negotiation, communication, teamwork and influencing skills
  • Leadership and interpersonal skills with a proven track record in managing people is critical
