We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to drive the delivery of strategic Commodities Options technology initiatives. The successful candidate will act as the key link between business stakeholders and technology teams, taking ownership of requirements analysis, solution design, technical delivery, and platform enhancements across the Commodities technology landscape.

This role requires a highly technical individual with a strong understanding of trading systems and software delivery processes. The candidate will work closely with front-office users and technology teams to design scalable solutions, drive delivery execution, and ensure successful implementation of strategic initiatives.

The position offers an opportunity to play a critical role in building and enhancing the next generation Commodities Options platform within a fast-paced front-office environment.

Key Areas of Responsibilities

1. Lead requirements analysis and solution definition for Commodities Options technology initiatives.
2. Translate complex business requirements into detailed functional, technical, and system specifications.
3. Drive end-to-end technology delivery across multiple workstreams and system components.
4. Own functional and technical design documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
5. Perform impact analysis across trading, risk, market data, pricing, and post-trade systems.
6. Act as the subject matter expert for platform functionality, workflows, and integration architecture.
7. Analyze complex production issues and coordinate resolution activities.
8. Support platform enhancements, system optimization, and strategic technology initiatives.
9. Review solution designs and ensure alignment with business and architectural objectives.
10. Coordinate SIT, release validation, and production rollout activities.
11. Proactively identify delivery risks, technical challenges, and dependency impacts.
12. Collaborate with business users, quantitative teams, risk management, operations, and technology stakeholders across regions.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science/Software Engineering or a related discipline.
2. 8–12 years of experience in technology projects delivery, within investment banking or capital markets.
3. Proven experience delivering complex front-office technology initiatives and enhancing enterprise trading platforms.
4. Understanding of OTC derivatives and trading systems, preferably Commodities Options will be preferrable
5. Strong knowledge of distributed systems, enterprise application architecture, software design principles, APIs, messaging frameworks, and event-driven architectures.
6. Solid understanding of the full software development lifecycle, release management, testing frameworks, and modern delivery practices.
7. Strong SQL and data analysis skills, with the ability to perform technical investigations, impact assessments, and root cause analysis of complex issues.
8. Hands-on exposure to Java and Python technology stacks, with experience working on Java-based enterprise applications and Python-based automation, data processing, or platform enhancement initiatives within investment banking, capital markets, commodities, or derivatives business
9. Experience working with pricing, risk management, market data, trade lifecycle, and post-trade systems is highly desirable.
10. Knowledge of Calypso or similar capital markets platforms is a strong advantage.
11. Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams on solution design, technical reviews, implementation approaches, platform modernization, and automation initiatives.
