Our client is a well-established financial institution undergoing business and technology transformation initiatives. They are seeking an experienced Testing Manager to lead testing activities, drive quality assurance standards, and ensure successful delivery of business-critical systems and operational projects.
The Role
- Lead end-to-end testing activities across system implementation, transformation, and enhancement projects, ensuring quality deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
- Define testing strategies, governance, and best practices covering SIT, UAT, defect management, and production readiness testing.
- Manage testing resources, oversee test execution, and coordinate with business users, technology teams, and vendors to drive timely issue resolution.
- Monitor testing progress, quality metrics, and project risks, providing regular updates and escalation of critical issues to stakeholders.
- Lead UAT planning and execution, including test scenario review, defect triage, impact assessment, and business sign-off coordination.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing processes, tools, team capability, and overall quality assurance standards.
Your Profile
- Degree holder in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or test management, including at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong experience managing SIT, UAT, test planning, defect management, and testing delivery for large-scale system implementation or transformation projects.
- Solid understanding of testing methodologies, SDLC, quality assurance practices, and Agile/Waterfall delivery approaches.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience within financial services, banking, insurance, or policy administration systems is highly preferred
