The Campus Recruiting team is part of the Human Resources division and is responsible for attracting and recruiting program interns and full-time graduates across Wholesale (Investment Banking & Global Markets) and Corporate divisions.

Job description   

Role Overview:

Reporting to the Human Resources Advisory heads, you will manage a team of dedicated campus recruiting professionals based in Hong Kong and Singapore.  The ideal candidate will be a driven and proactive individual who is excited about change, is able to deal with ambiguity, and thrives on working in a fast-paced environment and building strong relationships at all levels.

Responsibilities
•Development of the campus recruitment strategy for Asia ex-Japan – thinking creatively, commercially and competitively
•Lead and drive the Campus Recruiting campaign in the region – partnering with internal stakeholders, building university relationships across target universities locally and overseas,
•Regional and global reporting on recruiting activities & hiring targets
•End-to-end Management of key recruitment pipeline programmes (e.g. Summer interns and other pipeline initiatives and programs etc.)
•Run and attend various campus events as and when required (e.g. information sessions, workshops, careers fairs, presentations etc.) and manage the marketing materials from creation to delivery
•Monitor and help drive the sell process for all candidates once an offer has been extended
•Review the application screening and selection, and develop further attraction strategies to ensure quality of candidates meet the business criteria’s
•Manage the ongoing development of the Summer Internship program and full time graduate programmes in the region
•Collaborate with HR Advisory team to implement policy and best practice for all campus hires
•Support global campus recruitment marketing projects and annual upgrades of the online application system, which is currently WCN
•Implementation of campus recruiting initiatives and program management for Global Markets campus hires
•Best practice sharing with other regions and active involvement in regional and global projects

Key Experience & Skills   

Requirements
•Degree holder with minimum 8 to10 years’ of experience in Human Resources or financial services
•A good understanding of Campus Recruiting, market practices, recruiting cycles and program management
•Experience in managing a team across different locations
•Strong English communication skills (both written and verbal), and a great presenter as you will be the face of Nomura on campuses
•Seasoned recruiting professional with strong negotiation skills and the ability to develop internal and external relationships
•Diversity mind-set and proven ability to manage stakeholders and build networks quickly
•Results-orientated with the ability to handle multiple, time-sensitive projects while focusing on the quality of work delivered to clients
•Strong analytical skills and common sense, forward thinking; ability to foresee the impact of emerging trends/patterns
•Strong team player: ability to work effectively in teams is essential
•Ability to thrive in a deadline driven and fast paced environment
•Flexible and adaptable to the changing needs of the financial services industry
•Must be willing to travel
•Candidates with less experience may be considered for a Head of Hong Kong Campus Recruiting role initially, and transition to a Regional Head role in the next six months
