Our client, a foreign bank, is looking for a seasoned learning & development specialist to join their Hong Kong team. Incumbent will have the chance to play an active role in building up a robust L&D program to support the bank’s growth in Hong Kong.



  • Design and implement Talent Development programs and to facilitate and close the skills gaps
  • Identify L&D needs and perform gaps analysis to find out the development requirements across, and work out an annual training plan for the branch to monitor the overall training activities
  • Involve in talent management initiatives including the succession planning, talent development to build the talent pipeline
  • Liaise and co-ordinate with Department Heads and employees on assessment of training needs and to recommend learning solutions for employees' development
  • Design and deliver training courses to employees
  • Monitor and review quality of training courses by performing analysis on training feedbacks and comments and to suggest solutions for improvements
  • Review the L&D policy and update the HR Procedure Manual and to streamline and enhance the processes and procedures to ensure effectiveness and efficiency
  • Provide logistics support for training courses held either in overseas offices or in Hong Kong
  • Work with external vendors to provide just-in-time L&D development solutions for employees
  • Drive employee engagement activities, wellness initiatives and to contribute to diversity and inclusion initiatives
  • Participate in HR projects when required




  • University graduate
  • 6 - 8 years’ proven experience in Learning & Talent functions and managing Learning & Talent projects
  • Advanced proficiency in using MS Office
  • Good command of English and Chinese
  • Experience in banking industry is desirable
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Excellent planning, organizing, training analysis and design skills
  • Detailed oriented and meticulous
  • Proactive & reliable, a committed team player
