The Budapest Office provides essential support across a variety of services including Finance, Technology, Quant Solutions, Risk Management, Bank Resource Management and Internal Audit.

We are looking for a
Finance Reporting Manager
for our Budapest Office

The Financial Control Group (FCG) is responsible for overseeing the accounting and financial and regulatory reporting for the Firm. FCG prepares external financial reports for public filings and regulators. For internal reporting FCG, along with Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), summaries, plans and forecasts the organization's financial position, including income statements, balance sheets, and analyses of future revenues, expenses and earnings. FCG is comprised of Business Unit Controllers, Infrastructure Controllers, Accounting, Regulatory and Reporting groups, and Valuation Review.

Infrastructure FP&A within FCG makes sure books and records are correct for Morgan Stanley's support areas, reviews actual cost pools and is responsible for financial planning for the support services of the Firm. As part of the monthly reporting, this group prepares global management reporting packs.
We are looking for a motivated and experienced candidate to join the Management reporting team.


Managing a small team of subject matter experts
P/L reporting that will provide a well rounded experience of what kind of financial information Support Services clients are looking for
Maintenance and further development of existing reporting portfolio, provide support to senior management team on an ad-hoc basis
Automate the reporting process, identify and implement improvements, support the migration of standard reports to BI (Business Intelligence) tool (Tableau)
Look for ways of improving the efficiency, process and data quality, manage implementation of improvement initiatives
Be part of the review cycle in the team with ensure, that all reports are tested and reviewed based on the internal requirements
Working collaboratively with global counterparts, design, develop and implement reporting requirements
Ad-hoc projects

Skills Required:

Completed Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance or Business related discipline and availability to work full time (8 hours a day)
At least 5 years of experience related to accounting or financial reporting
Solid knowledge of finance or accounting concepts
People management experience preferred
Strong numeracy and analytical skills
Accuracy, attention to detail, good organization skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office
Strong Microsoft Excel, Access and VBA knowledge required
Experience in working with BI (Business Intelligence) tools required (Tableau knowledge is an advantage)
