We are looking for an
Financial Reporting Controller
for our Budapest Office

Would you like to see how the Investment Banking Division of the firm performs? Do you want to dig into the details of the most interesting trades of the day? Would you like to prepare value-added analytics for the Finance and Business Unit heads about clients, sales performance and direct expenses? This is exactly what we do in the Investment Banking Division Reporting group. The team is responsible for controlling and reporting on client and sales performance metrics, expense analytics, designing and developing management reports to evaluate business performance and support client and sales strategy.


Report preparation for all levels of management, including analysis of actual versus budget, and preparation of commentary for the monthly and quarterly revenue/expense review packs
Monitoring costs/revenues incurred to ensure that they are accurately recorded in the Firm's books and records
Risk and control: maintain report structure/format/content and any Business Unit specific systems
Business partnership: build strong relationship with the Business Unit, collaborate across business, Finance, product control and operations to drive solutions
Creating and enhancing reports to support the changing business environment and drive efficiency improvements
Ad hoc queries and projects

Skills required:

3-5 years of relevant management reporting / finance experience
Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or related field

Confident English knowledge

Advanced MS Excel skills with the ability to translate data into insightful analysis (VBA knowledge not required)
Sound numeric skills and accuracy
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, ability to deal effectively across functions, levels and locations
Be a team player
Ability to adapt to changing environment, good analytical and logical approach to problem solving
Familiarity with SAP Business Objects (BOXI) is an advantage
