We are currently looking for a
Reporting Controller
for our Budapest office

The Budapest Trading Fees Controlling group is seeking to fill a Controller position that requires a highly motivated individual with strong analytical, technical and communication skills. The successful candidate will be involved in various aspects of the Trading Fee controlling processes: registering agent bank invoices in Morgan Stanley systems, reconciling invoices against payments, identifying gaps between invoices and tariffs, analyzing expense trends to look for saving opportunities and communicating with Agents and Finance teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with colleagues/global counterparts/relevant stakeholders throughout month end close and monthly reporting cycle
  • Working collaboratively with global counterparts, design, develop and implement reporting requirements
  • Producing high quality standard monthly trading fees reports for the
  • Business Unit and Senior Management
  • Responding to ad-hoc reporting requirement
  • Provide timely detailed variance explanations on expenses, volumes, and rates to the trading desks, business unit management, and business unit controllers
  • Assist development of Management information/reports generally, build and ensure consistency in approach, design and development across all fees and products
  • Be a champion/expert-user of systems and process
  • Provide daily forecasting of Asia trading fees


Qualifications:


Skills required:
  • 2 years working experience in a similar role desirable
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or related field
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts
  • Experience in producing reporting decks, including preparing commentary and providing quality assurance for published documentation
  • Guardianship is a high priority ensuring all work carried out in a highly controlled environment
  • Microsoft Excel & Power Point skills required
  • Proficiency in Business Objects not required but an advantage
