The Controllers group is responsible for safeguarding the firm's assets: to help maintain the integrity of Goldman Sachs' finances and expenditures.
Through careful consideration and analyses of firm finances, objectives and strategies, we ensure that the firm's businesses continue to be profitable and efficiently run. Controllers also ensure that all business practices are in compliance with financial and regulatory requirements worldwide. Since contact with virtually every part of the firm is essential to Controllers, professionals in the department experience Goldman Sachs businesses, products and sophisticated technology systems in depth.


  • As the first level of contact for any queries in production, responsible for troubleshooting and proposing quick resolutions
  • Work closely with CA teams across the globe to build business requirements.
  • Develop functional design documents for implementation of projects in compensation accounting space.
  • Perform User Acceptance Testing
  • Work together with technology teams to define enhancements/automations
  • Planning and assist in prioritizing change requests in the payroll application
  • Strategize ways to innovate/streamline processes

  • Degree in Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years relevant work experience
  • Strong knowledge in People soft HRMS Global Payroll with good technical background to build PS queries
  • Experience in MS Excel, Outlook

  • Excellent teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Details and controls oriented
  • Flexible, can easily adapt changes
