Location: Bangalore, Karnataka, IndiaThis is an opportunity for an individual with a strong software production support background to join Moody's Investors Service Support Centre in India.
The successful candidate will have a demonstrable track record of successes supporting complex software solutions, liaising directly with stakeholders, and documenting solutions for future support personal. The role will primarily involve coordinating with the NY CSS Technology development team to p rovide global production support for regulatory applications which are of high visibility within the Moody's management globally, and integral to the analytical ratings processes.
As part of the CSS Technology team, support members will have many opportunities to leverage SQL skills to query and manipulate data, as well as intensively with SharePoint , debug SharePoint applications, and other technical tasks. This role will suit a highly motivated problem solver with excellent communication skills and a proven ability to use their own initiative and work with minimal supervision.
Experience with the support and QA/QC phases of software development lifecycle and software debugging skills are essential. Experience with source control, issue tracking, SharePoint troubleshooting is highly desirable. Basic understanding of finance and the mechanics of analytical methodologies are a plus.

The CSS technology teams play a key role in ensuring Moody's ability to deliver the highest quality business process automation applications. The teams work directly with the research analysts to provide technical support, workflow and data driven software solutions.
The CSS Technology team supports a substantial portfolio of tools and platforms used on a daily basis by analysts globally. The team is located in New York, and reports to the senior management of the Moody's Credit Strategy and Standards Sector.
BE (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Financial Engineering or a related field.
- Strong SharePoint troubleshooting & debugging skills (2+ years)
- Experience with source control (SVN ideally) and issue tracking
- Good SQL Query writing skills, understanding of database architecture
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Fluency in English a must
- Detail oriented and highly organized
- Rigorous and analytical thought process
- Experienced in working toward tight deadlines
