Transformation Manager, Corporate Shared Services Role Purpose The Transformation Manager will lead the optimization of corporate processes and activities transitioning to low cost locations. He/she will work closely with stakeholders from a variety of corporate groups to re-engineer end-to-end processes as they move offshore ("fix and shift") as well as improve the portions of the processes remaining onshore. He/she will apply process improvement methodologies such as Lean and/or Six Sigma to drive process optimization and transformation. The Transformation Manager will identify process automation opportunities and implement technologies and robotics as appropriate. He/she will work on multiple process improvement projects at any given time, depending on business needs, spanning all regions.
Reporting The role reports in country to the AVP, Strategic Projects & Transformation.
Major Responsibilities - Redesign/re-engineer key corporate processes end-to-end (both on- and off-shore components), by breaking down business issues and translating them into manageable project activities
- Conduct all phases and aspects of comprehensive process redesign, such as data gathering, baselining, root cause analysis, quantitative and qualitative analysis, data modeling, future state design, and implementation
- Work closely with Transition Managers and business unit and corporate stakeholders to carry out process optimization activities
- Conduct core project management activities including facilitating meetings, interviewing stakeholders, hosting workshops, documenting findings, creating stakeholder presentations
- Develop materials required to support future state execution (detailed process flow diagrams, job aids, etc.)
- Partner with the Lean Management Office (LMO) as appropriate to ensure alignment between State Street's Lean program and the implementation of Lean principles on high priority projects
Key background requirements - Extensive experience applying process improvement methodologies to complex business problems
- High-level certification in Lean, Six Sigma, and/or other process improvement methodologies
- Exposure to corporate function transformation - HR, Compliance, corp Finance etc is desirable
- Expertise in data analysis and data modeling
- Experience with robotics and process automation
- Ability to multi-task across projects and balance competing demands
- Ability to effectively navigate and influence varying organizational levels
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Shift timings (12-9PM IST)
