Implementation Analyst - Senior Associate (P1)
Job Description
Provides project support throughout the life cycle inclusive of analysis, testing, conversion and support. Identifies and defines the information, business and process requirements for technology development initiatives and develops plans and carries out the implementation of more complex new or modified system components, work processes or applications.
Focus of job on defining and documenting business requirements in performing project support and/or project management duties.
  • Individual must have strong attention to detail.
  • Individual must have detailed SWIFT Market Practice knowledge of inbound and outbound SWIFT messages
  • Ability to analyse and initiate new concepts and functionality in a changing environment
  • Ability to obtain pertinent information by research, interaction with clients/users, attending group meetings and informational sessions as appropriate
  • Communicates and interacts with coworkers and users regarding conversion requirements and status
  • Assists in the analysis of current processes and recommends solutions and improved processes. Acts as subject matter expert on impact of system changes to business processes.
  • Participates in reviewing specifications, and developing rollout, transition and implementation plans and procedures
  • Documents business requirements, new functionality and related set up and operational procedures
  • May participate in special projects, e.g. conducting research, collecting and providing requested data e.t.c.
  • PMP Certification not required, but helpful

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of financial services and/or implementation related experience
  • Strong communication, customer service and organisational skills
  • PC skills, including office applications and project scheduling and flowcharting software
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the industry and the interaction of its components
  • Bachelors Degree in technology, finance, business or equivalent would be preferred
  • Analytical and project planning skills
  • Relationship management and facilitation skills
  • Demonstrate skill in conducting all aspects of the business requirements phase and implementation phase of large and complex projects
