A leading FinTech innovator in the Small Business Lending space is looking for a Country MD for their Indonesia operation. This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior Financial Services professional to lead the business, in Jakarta, and significantly grow the operation. If you have a strong background in Credit Risk and Regulatory Compliance, this would be highly advantageous. Essentially, you will act as the CEO of the organisation's licensed finance company in Indonesia (MFI).
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations by providing clear leadership and guidance to all functions of the business - Finance, Opeations, Special Projects, HR & IT
- Cultivate a culture of high performance and cooperation
- Ensure effective collaboration with the teams in Singapore, Vietnam and other markets
- Uphold standard in relation to Risk Management (Credit) and all relevant regulations, including those prescribed bu OJK & BI
- Oversee the implementation of budgets and strategic plans
- Set employee perfomance standards required to achieve short and long term objectives
- Develop and manage a commercial pipeline of potential customers for credit technology products
- Implement performance management system for senior management, and coach/mentor appropriately
- Strong relationship and stakeholder management skills at all levels
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree, Masters, or greater, in business of finance is preferred
- At least 15 years' experience in Financial Services, 10 of which should be at a senior management level in a Retail Bank
- Excellent understand of a broad range of banking products, including loans and understanding the small business segment
- Fluency in Bahasa and English is required
