Job Description:
Overview of Role
The Wholesale Credit Subsidiary Lending Group (WC SLG) are responsible for managing the inward credit approval process for the EMEA Corporate Banking Subsidiary & Global Transaction Services Subsidiary business, providing Credit Officers outside the region, and local business partners, with dedicated support in EMEA. This position reports to the WC SLG Incoming Credits Manager .

What will I be doing? (Responsibilities)

  • Independent administration of a client portfolio facilitating credit for local subsidiaries of multinational clients.
  • Facilitate preparation & review of loan agreements & uncommitted facility letters
  • Direct interface with internal business partners & external clients
  • Drive through completion of credit deals in a timely manner
  • Help manage and adhere to the local Legal Entity booking process requiring liaison with Tax, Legal, Finance, Compliance & local Management teams in the region
  • Work closely with local subsidiary banking team that covers subsidiaries of non-EMEA multinational parent companies
  • Audit Report confirmations
  • Coordinate EMEA resources, acting as a liaison between global Relationship Managers & credit team, legal partners, and Credit Services

Skills we look for
  • University graduate or equivalent and/or track record of relevant experience
  • Credit background with knowledge of Corporate Banking products and services
  • Experience with reading / interpreting loan agreements & related documentation
  • Good working knowledge of Global Treasury Services products & their credit implications
  • Excellent written skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Team player, results oriented, shows ability to adapt and is able to work under pressure
  • Demonstrates time management and can prioritize workload
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple points of contact (internal and external)
