Our Dublin office requires a Credit Risk Professional with particular experience in Corporate Credit Risk to risk lead the portfolio including approving credit limits and transactions under designated approval authority, being subject matter authority in industry themes and regulatory changes within the sector.

The role will involve handling a dynamic portfolio of Corporate and Financial Sponsor owned clients across EMEA Region. Key responsibilities include reviewing credit proposals, new transactions, sanctioning exposure/limits for portfolio clients within appropriate risk parameters under delegated authority; risk types covered include lending, structured funding trades, RCFs, FX, derivatives, repo, GTS facilities.

What will your main responsibilities involve?

  • Intensify to the Head of Credit Risk key portfolio transactions and initiatives. Provide feedback to Wholesale Credit on new client/transaction screenings in order to influence outcomes in line with credit risk appetite, including appropriate transactions structures.
  • Identify and monitor top down emerging risk trends within the portfolio and build action plans for mitigation where appropriate
  • Build and maintain portfolio-level reporting routines which cover key movements in portfolio sensitivities, exposure changes and credit rating migrations
  • You should be comfortable interacting and influencing at senior D and MD levels
