Here at our Dublin office we have a new position available as a Finance Product Control / Business Finance Officer (BFO) in our Treasury Finance team.

In order to support the business it will be necessary to deal with multiple stakeholders across different lines of business in Front Office, Operations, Finance and Technology.
You will be reporting directly into the Head of Treasury Product Control for EMEA, LATAM and Canada, and will also report into the International Treasury Finance BFO.

What will your main responsibilities involve?

Treasury Financial Product and Business Finance role with exposure to the following areas:

  • Daily P&L and Balance Sheet Routines for FX Swaps, Liquid Asset portfolio and money market products
  • Business Finance Officer for the European treasury activity in Dublin/Paris
  • Forecasting and monthly reporting responsibilities
  • Month end close
In addition, working on a variety of projects and initiatives:
  • Making continuous improvement to the control environment
  • Supporting our legal entity strategy

What skills and qualifications will you ideally possess?

  • Qualified Accountant

  • Experience within a technical Finance area within a large financial services organization
  • Knowledgeable on core Investment Banking products, and the ability to transfer knowledge to Treasury related product activity (e.g. FX swaps, bonds, repo/reverse repo, and money market instruments)
  • Highly skilled at understanding trade flows and system architecture and accessing data from general ledger and sub-ledger systems
  • Control orientated with a focus on simplicity of design in order to reduce risk within the operating environment
  • A high quality communicator, able to face off to the Treasury funding desk on technical financial matters, and a credible advisor and partner to other colleagues in Finance, Corporate Treasury (US) and Technology Development functions
  • Keen to learn and challenge the status quo
  • Highly skilled in using Microsoft Excel
  • Nice to have : Project management skills
