We currently have an opportunity for the role of Head of Function – Fund Service Providers on contract of indefinite duration in the Funds Supervision Division within the Securities and Markets Supervision Directorate. The Funds Supervision Division is responsible for the authorisation and supervision of Investment Funds and Funds Service Providers established in Ireland.
The purpose of this role is to lead, develop and oversee teams of professional experts in the supervision of the Funds Sector using a risk-based, outcome-focused approach, to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. The Head of Function will assist in setting the strategic direction for the Funds Supervision Division and broader Securities and Markets Supervision Directorate, representing the Division and helping to manage all relevant stakeholder relationships.
The role holder will be responsible for a number of teams in the Division covering such areas as depositories, management companies and funds services providers duties.
