Project Planner, Global Offshore Wind Development - Green Investment Group
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and motivated Project Planner to join our Green Investment Group's rapidly growing offshore wind business and support the transition to a low carbon, sustainable global economy.
Our Green Investment Group's global offshore wind business is responsible for the successful management and delivery of a pipeline of 15+ GW of offshore wind projects, the origination of new opportunities and partnerships as well as the provision of asset management and advisory services to third party investors.
In this newly created role, you will be reporting to the Project Controls Manager and be responsible for planning and monitoring progress in a standard and consistent manner within project teams. You will maintain accurate, and up to date information related to the project work scope (including all contracts) and will identify and implement project planning processes and procedures. You will be a detail focussed individual able to understand project management procedures and software, and who is used to working across multiple departments.
Primary accountabilities will include: the development and maintenance of detailed plans for all phases of the offshore wind project, ensuring that all programmes adhere to contractual requirements and that project programmes from consent stage straight through to handover to operations are fully monitored. You will create tender stage and contract programmes from client specifications, liaising with project team, sub-contractors and suppliers, and maintain programme detailed information to enable accurate records of contract history to be accessed. You will undertake schedule risk analysis and maintain an overview of allocated WBS document control.
Extensive experience of Primavera (P6, or chosen project management software) will be required, as well as strong management skills to co-ordinate several departments and manage expectations. Your capacity to work to a fixed monthly timescale and programme management experience within the construction industry would be considered advantageous. Being detailed oriented with highly developed communication and time management skills, as well as prior experience of working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, will hold you in good stead to be successful in this role.
