The Southern Europe team is responsible for the growth and support of FactSet’s business in the Italy, Spain, Portugal, Ticino, Greece, Malta, Cyprus and Romania. FactSet is already a leader in providing of research and analytical tools to Asset Management, Investment Banking and Insurance and continues to produce many exciting and innovative product developments for our clients and prospects. In order to maximize the growth opportunity from new business, we are seeking a successful dynamic New business person that will grow our business throughout the region (ex-Iberian).

  • Working closely with the Regional Sales Manager to build and execute a consistent sales plan
  • Building a strong pipeline as well as increasing its conversion rates across all FactSet Products and Services
  • Deliver against monthly & annual revenue targets and objectives
  • Acquire and maintain a high level of product and market knowledge
  • To maintain and enhance the FactSet image and brand in the market

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Actively prospect the target list, through cold calling and other campaigns, and generate awareness, interest and qualified leads
  • Meet with prospects to determine requirements and propose the appropriate FactSet solution
  • Conduct professional sales product demonstrations and presentations
  • Involve Sales Specialists and Consultants in a professional and proper manner
  • Implement and manage effective trials
  • Conduct effective negotiations and close sales to maximise revenue gain
  • Gain knowledge of all FactSet Products and Services
  • Gain knowledge of competition in the market and channel feedback to product development and marketing

Job Requirements:

  • Strong and proven communication, interpersonal skills, team players and be able to work independently are a must
  • Drive, enthusiasm and a desire to exceed target
  • Strong sense of initiative, creativity and strategic thinking
  • Proven track record in developing new business and growing revenue streams
  • Deep understanding in the use of financial data & software across client applications and workflows
  • Previous experience in a similar sales position within the Italian Market
