Procurement Tools Manager

GSS provides shared services to the Group companies, with Head Office in Italy and branches in 5 European countries, a total staff of about 1.000 people.   The person in charge for this role has to coordinate all the involved Generali Entities in the roll-out

GSS provides shared services to the Group companies, with Head Office in Italy and branches in 5 European countries, a total staff of about 1.000 people.

 

The person in charge for this role has to coordinate all the involved Generali Entities in the roll-out of Procurement Processes and Ivalua One Procurement Tool at Group Level. Due to the complexity of the activities and the high impact on different Businees Units a senior profile is required.

 

He/she will coordinate the Local Countries Functions (Procurement and IT) and the Central System Integrator implementing the One Procurement Tool, activing as an advisor\epert both on Procurement Process related topics and on Ivalua\technical issues.

 

She/he has to ensure deadlines and has properly update all parties involved about the implementation status in accordance to the plan. He/she has to supervise the test phases and the training before the go live to ensure that all Group procedures are properly respected.

 

For those Countries where Ivalua is already in use, she/he has to monitor the adoption of the One Procurement Tool and Procurement Processes ensuring a positive user experience and collecting and managing potential change request.

The platform implementation requires a cross Functions engagement to ensure that all published and upcoming Group Guidelines and Procedures are respected and properly reflected in the One Procurement Tool implementation. 

 

He/she has to provide the Entities with a full view on costs and time plan. He/she has to deal with external suppliers to ask for economical offers, to properly allocate costs to the countries and ensure that all Suppliers are duly paid.

The Ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

  • Proven experience in implemting Procurement Processes  mandatory
  • Ivalua system knowledge mandatory
  • Sap knowledge highly appreciated
  • Experience in complex IT systems integration project mandatory
  • Functional analysis drafting and requirements collection
  • Project planning and issue resolutions capabilities
  • Project manager experience, proactive attitude
  • Team working, priorities management
  • Both written and spoken English mandatory
  • Willingness to travel
