The Group Investments Audit Unit performs Internal Audit activities on Investments process across the Group and provides services of the Internal Audit function for the Asset Management Companies of the Group.

 

Within this unit we are currently looking for a Senior Real Estate Auditor that will support the Audit Manager for Real Estate in the preparation of the annual audit plan, in the reviewing and testing the adequacy and effectiveness of controls through execution of field work. He/she will support in the redesign of the processes used in the various units of the real estate business. Moreover the Senior Auditor will support the Audit Manager in the process of the management of the outstanding recommendations in order to verify that, the action planned by the audited are timely and correctly implemented.

 

The successful candidate will be responsible to:

  • Support the Audit Manager in the preparation of the Annual Audit Plan to be further discussed with the Head of Investment Audit Department identifying those processes that are to be audited in accordance to the Group methodology
  • Develop of audit engagements based on the audit plan
  • Assist the Audit Manager in designing audit procedures and audit programs
  • Ensure the reporting to the management in charge of the audited area highlighting the main shortcomings and weaknesses observed and making recommendations on actions to be taken to resolve them and draft audit reports, including writing clear and concise findings and recommendations.
  • Supervise the activities of the Junior Auditor and provide training on the Job.
  • Ensure the regular follow-up and appraisal of the implementation status of issued recommendations from auditing activities
  • Support the Audit Manager to draw up the half year and the yearly reports for the Board of Directors and the top management where the progress of the implementation of the Annual Audit Plan and corrections of any shortcomings identified during audits is duly addressed
  • Support the Audit Manager in making suggestion to the top management in relation to the upgrade, update and improvement of internal control system

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

Must have

  • Advanced University education in Business Administration/Accounting or FinanceEngineering
  • Good technical knowledge of real estate business and internal control processes
  • Previous experience (minimum six years’) in external/internal audit (AM entities) or previous experience in real estate industry
  • Fluent in English
  • Good knowledge of computer work and advanced command of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Access)
  • International mindset and availability to travel up to 40% of working time

Nice to have

  • Any other foreign languages (French / German)
  • Experience with forensic auditing and professional certification (ACCA,CIA,CISA,CFE)
