The FIC Support and Production Management Team drives the production integrity of Fixed Income Trading and Sales applications through global ready-for-business certification, application guardianship, real-time system monitoring and turnover & incident management. The position requires highly technical individuals with a strong cross discipline skill set, and the ability to work and adapt to a dynamic fast-paced environment. Team members are also committed to constant process improvement, and are responsible for delivering measurable results. A working knowledge of Fixed Income businesses and excellent communication skills desired as key relationships with the Fixed Income user community and IT Developers is an essential element to the success of the team.
This particular role will be focused on production management focused tasks such as user support, bcp, capacity, incident management and other technical tasks.


?5+ years experience of application / infrastructure support or development in a trading environment

? Experience supporting, diagnosing, and solving problems in a distributed systems Unix/Linux operating environment

? Advanced working knowledge of at least two of: PERL, KSH, SQL

? Working knowledge of SQL databases (Sybase, DB2)

? Problem solving skills and the ability to multi-task

? Good interpersonal and communication skills / Strong verbal & written skills required to interact with global teams

? Can successfully operate as a team member as well as independently

? Highly motivated, analytical thinking individual

? Knowledge and experience working with Fixed Income businesses and/or instruments, P&L calculation and Trading Risk
