The position is for an intermediate level Trading Systems Integrator to join the Client Connectivity Services team in Morgan Stanley. In this role, the candidate will manage and deliver projects for a proprietary trading system that trades cash, options, and futures in multiple markets around the globe. The candidate should be a self-motivated, enthusiastic and flexible team player and will be expected to work with teams in local and remote locations, liaising with external vendors, clients and exchanges as needed.
-Build, deploy, and manage trading systems
-Get things done
-Perform analysis, design, development, testing and deployment of components
-Gather requirements and documenting findings as required
-Proficient in Linux/Unix, including shell scripting and process management
-Experience with at least one scripting language e.g. Perl, Python, shell
-Experience working with distributed liunx/unix based systems
-Excellent problem solving skills
-Ability to maintain composure while working under pressure
-Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
-Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions independently
-Strong verbal and written skills
