Join a global fintech and digital payments company as a Japan Market Growth Specialist, supporting the expansion of its cross-border payments business in Japan. This role combines business operations, market analysis, digital payments, and growth strategy, with a strong focus on understanding inbound consumer behavior, merchant performance, marketing activity, and transaction trends across the Japanese market.

Working closely with sales, marketing, and business development teams, you will turn market, merchant, and customer data into actionable growth initiatives. Key Responsibilities

• Research Japan's inbound tourism, digital payment trends, and consumer behavior to identify new business opportunities.
• Analyze merchant and transaction performance to identify opportunities to increase payment usage and transaction volume.
• Assess merchant needs and develop market-specific business operations and growth initiatives.
• Partner with Business Development and marketing teams to plan and execute commercial campaigns.
• Plan and support online and offline promotional activities tailored to the Japanese market.
• Track campaign effectiveness, business performance, and Return on Investment (ROI) using quantitative data.
• Translate market, customer, merchant, and transaction data into actionable recommendations to improve business results in Japan.

Required Skills and Qualifications Experience:

• 3+ years of B2C business operations experience within internet, technology, digital services, or a related industry.
• Experience managing marketing campaigns, promotional activities, or customer growth initiatives.
• Bachelor's degree.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and numerical thinking with the ability to turn data into practical business insights.
• Proactive, accountable, and self-motivated approach to work.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively with sales, marketing, business development, and operations stakeholders in an international environment.
