Client Services Associate - Transfer Agency German speaking (M/F)
·Review of incoming shareholder requests (e.g. Re-Identification forms) paying particular attention to detail to determine if required documentation is valid and complete in relation to regulatory obligations, such as AML/KYC, FATCA, CRS and internal control standards;
·Analyse incomplete items and scenarios for exception processing by evaluating potential risks and determine if exception processing can be done prior to engaging Legal and Compliance department with shareholder account information (escalation to management through the presentation of facts and data when required, and propose solutions or actions to handle the case);
·Client contact (verbal and written) to include communicating due diligence matters to shareholders for unresolved items to obtain information and to expedite account re-identification;
·Identify processing gaps, ensure proper escalation of high-risk items and their adequate follow-up and implementation of new processing controls;
·Contribute to the improvement of daily operational processes and the implementation of new projects and initiatives;
·Participate in regular reviews and updates of relevant working procedures;
·Handle and answer multiple demands from external parties or the management line received via
·phone, email, facsimile and post;
·Deliver a high quality of service to all clients in line with the company's targets and expectations.
The Candidate Profile:
·Fluent in German and in English (written & oral);
·Good knowledge of Word, and of Microsoft Office products in general (Excel, Outlook…);
·Knowledge of Transfer Agency regulatory, legal context and issues associated with the job responsibilities and business practices as well as general AML/KYC requirements;
·Understanding of the concept and mechanisms of FATCA and CRS;
·Experience in Transfer Agency operations, (e.g. Registration/Account opening role);
·Excellent listening and communication skills;
·Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of complex situations where only limited standardization exists;
·Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form;
·Ability to work independently and interact well with both team members and internal customers;
·Good organizational skills in order to meet deadlines;
·A high level of accuracy and the ability to maintain standards while under pressure.
