As part of its plans to build up its Real Estate business, FundPartner Solutions (Europe) SA is seeking to recruit a Fund Consolidation Manager – Real Estate. Assigned to the Private Equity and Alternative Investment Department, you will be a central point of contact for daily operations with the various stakeholders (asset managers, propcos and fiduciaries). You will be responsible for the financial information of a portfolio of real estate fund clients and work as part of a team to achieve and meet their needs.

Mission

As part of its plans to build up its Real Estate business, FundPartner Solutions (Europe) SA is seeking to recruit a Fund Consolidation Manager – Real Estate. Assigned to the Private Equity and Alternative Investment Department, you will be a central point of contact for daily operations with the various stakeholders (asset managers, propcos and fiduciaries). You will be responsible for the financial information of a portfolio of real estate fund clients and work as part of a team to achieve and meet their needs.

Responsibilities 

  • Preparing customised consolidation reporting packages for consolidation reporting purposes
  • Coordinating data collections for the fund’s entities’ reporting packages, as well as reviewing local reporting packages
  • Converting local GAAP accounts to consolidation GAAP
  • Reviewing consolidated financial statements / consolidated NAVs under IFRS, INREV and local GAAP
  • Preparing combined statements for jointly controlled companies
  • Providing assistance to clients in handling consolidation matters with auditorsAssisting with internal and external financial reporting activities
  • Managing the entire reconciliation process of the different entities
  • Working closely and coordinating with other stakeholders on complicated tax accounting processes
  • Conducting consolidation training sessions for internal staff
  • Working with the fund controller to prepare periodic reporting and regulatory reports for the fund’s entities
  • Dealing with client transactions with the help of the Engagement Leader
  • Assisting with various business projects, as necessary
  • Adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.

Profile

Educational background and experience:

  • University degree in Economics, Finance or similar
  • At least six years' experience in real estate fund services
  • ACCA or any similar certification would be an asset

Specific knowledge:

  • Thorough understanding of the operations and consolidation methods of real estate funds.
  • Knowledge of IFRS consolidation
  • Knowledge of INREV standards

Language skills:

  • Perfect command of French and excellent knowledge of English

  • Able to work independently without supervision
  • Capacity to learn and grasp new concepts
  • Sense of initiative and desire to deliver top-quality customer service.

As the chosen applicant, you will have several years' experience working in the field of consolidation of real estate investment funds. You will be recognised for your professionalism and your in-depth expertise in the areas for which you have been responsible. You will also be proactive, conscientious and have excellent communication skills and wish to make use of your flair for analysis and synthesis as part of a growing team where you will be able to use your skills to achieve the objectives you are set. You will also need to take account of the legal and financial framework in your approach to situations and select the appropriate solutions.
