What it's about
To strengthen our team in Luxembourg, we are looking for a candidate to join as a Junior Oversight Specialist. In this role you will be responsible for fulfilling the duties of an AIFM, with a main focus on its duties to control and oversee its delegates and service providers. Oversight is critical within an AIFM set-up, with the CSSF increasingly stressing its importance and ESMA issuing new guidance.

This role is one which encompasses other crucially important regulatory areas, such as responsibility for oversight of the AIFM's branches and ensuring that the certain regulated functions, such as information technology, are implemented and performed in accordance with applicable regulation in Luxembourg. Diversity and breadth of scope enables the team members to learn and understand the bigger picture.

Main responsibilities
  • Monitoring, overseeing and controlling delegates and service providers
  • Overseeing branches of the AIFM, with particular focus on the funds established in the jurisdiction of the branch
  • Responsibility for successful implementation of other AIFMD regulatory obligations (e.g. information technology, cloud computing)
  • Leading and implementing firm-wide projects
  • Development, implementation and maintenance of control procedure systems

What we expect
  • 2 - 3 years' experience in AIFMD, with exposure to private markets being an asset
  • Experience with building and implementing an oversight or a control framework
  • Knowledge of Luxembourg regulatory environment
  • Possesses analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to integrate in a dynamic and multi-cultural growing team
