Project/Program Manager (M/F)

Context :
Ensures Utopia program meets its strategic and operational objective. Concretely, the PM is accountable for the effective delivery of each Utopia implementation project in the selected Affiliates, starting with BSCo.

Job Responsibilities :
- Supervises Utopia program providing day-to-day leadership and guidance,

- Works very closely with a local Utopia project manager in the Affiliate and works in close interaction with the local Executive Committee,

- Champions change and effectively manages the transition towards the new operating model,

- Maintains the convergence of the new operating model in the design phase of each implementation project, and properly identify/escalate deviations,

- Reviews progress across Utopia program streams,

- Identifies key risks, issues and mitigations. Escalates, reports and follows-up closure of issues and key risks,

- Ensures program assurance by defining and following Assurance Plan, internally to the project, and with control functions (mainly, Risk and Audit),

- Enforces standard framework for project management methodology and related processes,

- Ensures adherence to program governance structure,

- Manages program budget (incl. forecasts) on a day-to-day basis,

- Manages the selection process of external resources,

- Grows long-term relationships with business lines.

Important note: the PM is expected to travel and typically spend 2-3 days a week on site in the Affiliates

Qualifications :
- Advanced degree in Business administration, economics, technological or engineering sciences,

- Between 10 and 15 years of experience, incl. 5 years of senior management with focus on large scale and complex projects,

- Experience in multi-location and system-driven environments,
- Strong and proven experience in project management of large banking projects with ability to drive towards expected results,
- Solid understanding of banking business, in particular tax, compliance and operations domains. Solid knowledge of Lombard Odier application suite.

Skills :
- Ability to manage multiple projects with competing demands for limited resources,
- Proven ability to interact and communicate with all levels of the organisation (incl. ExCo) in an effective manner,
- Proficient in building relationships, strong interpersonal skills,
- Strong organisational skills.
Languages :
- Fluent in French and English,
- Dutch is a plus.
