We are recruiting for a Senior Accounting Expert for an industrial company. The successful candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in general accounting and a deep knowledge of SAP. He/she will act as the knowledge reference point of accounting matters for the company!

SENIOR ACCOUNTING EXPERT FR/ENGL (M/F), INDUSTRIAL SECTOR

 

THE JOB :

Your main responsibilities:

 Accounting

  • Be the knowledge reference point for our 10 Luxembourg entities (LuxGAAP basis) and review any complex journal entry /accounting topic
  • Control, review and analysis of general ledger statements for the 10 Luxembourg companies on a monthly basis
  • Reconciliation of accounts in order to prepare and ease the annual audit
  • Preparation of consolidation packages for Luxembourg companies
  • Preparation of statutory Financial Statements for the 10 Luxembourg companies
  • Collaboration with the auditor’s team to assist with completing the year-end audit by providing them the requested explanations and files
  • Filing the annual accounts (ecdf)
  • Support the Group on accounting matters, be a reference for accounting expertise (i.e.: PCN2020)
  • Creation of individual “Asset Sheet” for each new asset
  • Booking of the fixed assets invoices in SAP + ensure full traceability between accounting, physical situation and CAPEX form
  • Follow up of the physical inventory (in accordance with our accounting books) of the fixed tangible assets with the support of the controlling and operations managers
  • Manage the group Chart of Accounts
  • Improve financial procedures
  • Perform general ledger entries if needed 

    Additional responsibilities

  • Review and validation of processes with the new ERP system (SAP S/4 HANA project implementation and roll-outs)
  • Supports all members of the finance team in any task for which the person has the required capability or potential
  • Proposes continuous improvement possibilities related to his/her tasks or the general functioning of the finance team (working processes and tools, …)
  • Member of the Finance Project Team SAP which is responsible for the implementation and development of the Group ERP SAP S/4 HANA
  • Prepare a group accounting manual

     

    THE CANDIDATE PROFILE :

     The ideal candidate should :

  • Be graduated as Academic Bac+3 minimum in accounting
  • Have at least 7 – 8  years of relevant experience in accounting
  • SAP knowledge
  • Have strong analytical and communication skills with a real ability to work in a team
  • Be highly organized and very motivated
  • English and French are mandatory
  • Be able to manipulate correctly the MS Pack Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, …)
