Your Role and Responsibilities
Manage vulnerabilities and compliance on the OS side by addressing compliance issues and managing audits within the infrastructure.
Audit, validate, and manage entries in the inventory databases MAD and SESDR.
Coordinate with the compliance team to ensure that the systems in MHAS, SEI, and CTS are added to MAD and work to ensure they are properly tagged as CMAS infrastructure.
Get 2 Green initiative which is aimed at reducing the gaps with patching and drive efforts that include identifying systems and their owners, getting the BIGFIX agent installed, as well as, providing guidance and training to others on these issues.
Audit activities to provide information, support, and remediation activities:
Endpoint Detection and Response Rollouts
ABN Audit (critical client)- Requires a resource to log into each machine and manually retrieve each item and load it into a template
TRAC Audit/IBM Corporate - this audit is focused on 3.x and 2012.1 environments.
MH/ASFFIEC Audit,Mg'd AppsISO External Audit Winterthur.
Role of coordinator for CAR Completions
Microsoft Licensing audits
Creating non-compliance records for failed scans or tickets for resolution.
Opening new records for each of the failed HealthCheck and/or vulnerability scans;
Get 2 Green effort, mostly meeting to resolve prioritized patching gaps for select servers (mostly MHAS/SEI/CTS). Primarily identifying owners and getting the BIGFIX agent installed
Role also provides guidance and instruction to the new teams in compliance, their use of SIM, MAD, patching, etc and process for activation/deactivation.
Resolve and manage issues identified via Quarter-End Audits; identify root causes of issues and help drive reduction and prevention of errors.
These audits occur approximately 4 weeks after the end of every quarter and take a full 4 to 6 weeks to resolve. The audit identifies activations and deactivation's that have not been completed correctly.
Responsible for remediating ALL errors, including those produced by other tribes: Oracle, SAP, monitoring, BUR support, etc.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Bachelor's degree with 5-7+ years of experience
Ability to work in a team to solve complex problems involving multiple disciplines
