Job description

• Responsible for the payment business growth of Indonesia/Vietnam as a tourist destination under Alipay+ payment gateway (where the main KPI will be number of active payment users, daily average transactions, total payment value, revenue)

• Develop growth strategies based on in-depth research on inbound travel market trends, competitor dynamics, and user needs for tourists coming to Indonesia/Vietnam from mainland China and around the world, and in collaboration with various stakeholders including marketing and growth teams from the headquarter and Alipay+ mobile payment partners, key industry merchants/suppliers, tourism board, government and intellectual property (IP) partners.

• Design, execute and evaluate integrated marketing campaigns across online/offline channels and within/outside the app (including user acquisition, activation, retention, and major promotions) to strengthen user awareness of Alipay+ payment availability and deals, so as to drive business growth.

• Collaborate with business development team to identify and manage key merchant accounts across different categories (F&B, attractions, retail, etc.) in the market, in order to win trust, establish joint marketing partnerships and drive their publicity and payment volume.

• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirement

• Bachelor's degree or higher, major preferably in Business or Marketing;

• At least 3 years experience in marketing and growth operations in a consumer facing internet/fintech industry; Candidates with background in online-to-offline (O2O) business, payment business or travel industry, along with proven success cases in driving business growth, are preferred.

• Must have: Proficiency in both English and Mandarin. Excellence in Chinese content copy-writing.

• Must have: Familiar with mainland China market internet landscape and user behavior. Familiar with Chinese social media environment and marketing dynamics;

• Possess big picture thinking and strong data acumen, while ready to get hands-on;

• Flexible team player who thrives in fast-paced, often ambiguous, environment;

• Curious, optimistic, resilient, highly adaptable, and able to work effectively under pressure;

• Ability to set priorities, problem solve, multi-task and work independently;

• Excellent communication skills with a proven track record of cross-functional and cross-team collaboration. Able to efficiently gather information, build consensus, and drive project execution;

• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint capabilities; experience in enhancing productivity through AI is a plus.
