We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role of AM RBWM FCC & Compliance - Sanctions.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Responsible for establishing and managing the overall risk and control framework of HBMY RBWM business in the area of Transactions Monitoring and Sanctions
  • Supporting RBWM by providing advice, identifying issues, assessing, reviewing and issuing related policies and procedures relating to Sanctions.
  • Establishing, reviewing, implementing and management of Transaction Monitoring/ Payment Screening policy compliance, such as UARs, Alert oversight, etc.
  • Ensure that Sanctions standards, policies and procedures meet regulatory needs and are clearly understood by RBWM network.
  • Track the strategic implementation of an effective Sanctions controls framework within RBWM
  • Ensure oversight of periodic reviews and ongoing monitoring activity for Sanctions is consistent with agreed timelines.
  • By drafting and delivering appropriate training for RBWM employees based on gaps identified, compliance and audit findings.
  • To conduct regular briefings and/or branch intervention training to inculcate high Financial Crime Compliance.
  • Adding value by applying operational experiences to formulate action plans and policies/procedures that are practical and ease of implementation for the network for effective compliance of Financial Crime risk policies and procedures.
  • To coordinate LOBP amendment activities


Qualifications
Requirements
  • A minimum requirement of Bachelor' Degree is needed for the role.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in Financial Crime and Compliance management - Sanctions in a retail banking environment
  • Good understanding and knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering laws and regulations
  • Knowledge of the audit management and facilitation process and experience in managing audit deliverables.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to a wide range of individuals and groups and at different levels of seniority.
  • Self starter with attention to details combined with strong delivery focus and ability to meet aggressive timeframes with quality results.
  • Ability to work in a pressurised environment and manage continually changing priorities effectively.
  • Project management skill will be an addded advantage.
