We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join this team in the role of Assistant RBWM Financial Crime Risk & Compliance Manager - Triage.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Establishing and managing the overall throughput productivity of the RBWM CDD Book of Work.
  • Managing the overall inhibition process in accordance to the RBWM Inhibition Policy.
  • Ensure compliance with any regulatory and Group Standards / Policy requirement with regards to Sanctions.
  • Drive a culture of change improvement and effective support of HBMY RBWM Financial Crime Risk and Compliance framework
  • Work closely with RBWM CSU, RBWM CSEM and other FCR teams to ensure that the completion of the RBWM CDD Book of Work and inhibition is performed in accordance with RBWM Inhibition Policy.

  • Minimum 2 years experience in Financial Crime and Compliance management - Sanctions in a retail banking environment.
  • Good understanding and knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering laws and regulations.
  • Knowledge of the audit management and facilitation process and experience in managing audit deliverables.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to a wide range of individuals and groups and at different levels of seniority.
  • Self starter with attention to details combined with strong delivery focus and ability to meet aggressive timeframes with quality results.
  • Ability to work in a pressurised environment and manage continually changing priorities effectively.
  • Project management skill will be an added advantage.
