Business Analyst

Key responsibility :
1. Understand business process, business requirements of clients and provide optimum solution for their requirements
2. To comply with internal laid down process- System Delivery Framework (SDF)
3. Excellent interpersonal skills coupled with business knowledge so that solution can be transformed into functional specification documents
4. Ensures business solutions deliverables including requirements gathering, effort estimates, and functional specification are of quality and delivered on time
5. Works with other teams to ensure that their deliverables match the specifications and requirements. This includes working with design / interface / delivery teams for the detailed technical design, testing teams for the definition of testing plans and scripts and supporting the UAT
6. Ensure that the business solutions plan fits into the overall project plans / country implementation
7. Identifies inter-dependencies with other projects / project teams
8. Reviews and monitors risk mitigation and contingency plans
9. Manages communications between projects and project teams for business solutions or product management related
10. Monitors issues and ensures that resolution is reached

As a Business Analyst, the role will be responsible for all aspects of operational readiness for project implementation including resource management, analysis, development coordination, deployment and training. The person will be liaising closely with various stakeholders, particularly with in country Wealth Management operations, function managers in various hubs and compliance. Business Analyst who will be required to proactively engage with business departments to identify and define business requirements. The job holder must not be constrained by a rigid job specification, and be sufficiently experienced to be able to pick up additional duties as necessary.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
Design and implementation
1. Working closely with IT colleagues and business stakeholders for system and infrastructure Hub delivery
2. Development of testing strategies, approaches and test packs if required
3. Developing overall strategy and approach for functional, regression, performance and User Acceptance Testing
4. Managing the definition of user acceptance criteria and sign-off

Project Governance
1. - Working closely with Project Manager and operation teams to ensure timely delivery of the project and excellent quality of work done.
2. - Producing and executing a project plan
3. - Identifying, collating and analysing data to establish and quantify risk and issues
4. - Establishing relationships and working with system and process owners to determine and document requirements
5. - Assisting Project Manager in designing and agreeing solutions to problems with the relevant stakeholders
6. - Tracking requirements, change requests and defects through the project lifecycle
7. - Supporting the production of the overall project or programme level business case
8. Managing business sign-off

Qualifications and Skills
1. - Experience in operational processes in banking industry
2. - Experience in Wealth Management processes will be an advantage
3. - Good project management skills and business analysis; experience relating to both process migrations and implementations
4. - A clear understanding of project milestones and be able to effectively manage and prioritize their time accordingly, in order to deliver to those milestones
5. - Ability to pre-empt and resolve problems, mitigate risks, and issues associated with program.
6. - Strong analytical skills and be a creative thinker, ability to analyze an issue and help develop multiple solutions
7. - Able to communicate effectively and confidently with colleagues of all levels of seniority, from different backgrounds and based in other (global) locations
8. - Able to generate good project documentations, such as project schedules and resource plans, presentation packs
9. - Strong command of the English language and or high level of proficiency.
