Description

  • Responsible for the planning and execution for credit cards core strategy, which includes driving retail interest revenue, Cash Advance interest and fees, and building core balances
  • Conceptualize and develop strategy plans to deliver plan targets on Customer Attrition to achieve Net Customer Growth while maximizing Fees
  • Provide monthly forecast of key financial metrics and understanding various portfolio trends to measure performance against plan, and strategize initiatives to grow core credit card balances and revenue, attrition and fees lines
  • Monitor existing customer base transactional behaviour, ensuring strategic actions to increase on-us balances as well as minimizing off-us dilution through customer segmentations and targeted offerings
  • Identify potential revenue generating opportunities through APR pricing, revolving behaviour, and interest calculations to drive core ANR growth
  • Lead fixes and system enhancements related to Central Bank regulatory changes as well as control-related issues to ensure compliance with Central Bank regulations and internal guidelines
  • Optimize decisions on Retention and Fees to maximize profitability and retention of the Cards customer
  • Ensure the execution on Retention and Fee activities are monitored closely to achieve plans/forecast numbers
  • Responsible for the implementation of regional digitization initiatives on launching digital platforms for instalment bookings
  • Work with internal functions e.g. Risk Management, Decision Management, Finance, Compliance, Sales & Distribution (S&D) to
    • Ensure all parties are aligned on program needs and are aware of the product/program/project deliverables
    • Identify input required from various stakeholders for program/project delivery
    • Ensure proper co-ordination and timely completion of each program/project stages
    • Ensure end-to-end process and/or system flows are in place and ready for eventual implementation
  • Ensure all internal and external dealings with customers, partners and regulators are compliant
  • Identify marketing communication needs and provide clear direction and communication to relevant advertising agencies in devising, producing and execution of the advertising work which will communicate the objectives of the programs
  • On collaterals required, work with respective internal departments to:
    • Ensure input required from necessary stakeholders are obtained
    • Proper clearance of collaterals required from respective stakeholders


Qualifications

  • At least 10 years of banking experience
  • Strong financial and analytical skills with a strategic mind-set
  • In depth understanding on execution & credit card processes
  • Experience in risk & data management would be an advantage
  • Good interpersonal skills and experienced with managing relationships
  • Detailed and meticulous
  • Committed with the desire to achieve goals and targets
  • A strong team player
  • Good presentation skills
  • Good academic achievement, minimum 2nd class
