Roles & Responsibilities:

Internal Account Admin and monitoring of Reconciliations:
  • Daily monitoring of Reconciliations of Nostro, BNM and Internal accounts.
  • Perform analysis of ageing items and carry out investigations with responsible departments independently for root cause, action plans and closure date.
  • To conduct quarterly service review with stakeholders and service providers to ensure that the services outsourced are in line with existing ADR / as per agreement.
  • Provide support for miscellaneous controls and governance of O&T owned balance sheet controls
  • Assist Finance team investigating the monthly key risk issues for Balance Sheet related items, by engaging with the respective stakeholders to further understand the common transactions that are causing setbacks.
ICG OTRC Control and Monitoring:
  • ICG OTRC for Citibank Malaysia, demonstrate individual contribution to increasing the quality and productivity of ICG Operations by driving the OE Standards and Behaviours in day to day processes
  • Completing "standard test plans" for Malaysia, rolled out within CED (Controls Execution Dashboard) and to adhere to the standards and quality of the checks as set by Global ICG.
Audit Confirmation:
  • Act as a back-up in assisting and processing yearly basis for Audit Confirmation requests, covering both ICG and GCG.
  • Keep accurate records and prepare correspondences reply in accordance with standards requirements.
Other Miscellaneous Risk & Controls related responsibilities:
  • Processing of department invoice and preparation on monthly invoice report for the services outsourced to service providers. 
  • Primary RMPL back-up for Records Management.
  • Provide assistance to BAO Support in ensuring that the governance and relationships are in compliance with the regulatory franchise's guidelines/processes.
  • To review local guidelines to ensure effectiveness of the internal control of operations and ensure compliance to established procedures and policies.
  • Ensuring zero past dues on all functional responsibilities.


  • Graduate in Accounting or Finance degree with 2 years working experience in Banking or other related industries. Experience in risk or audit exposure will be an added advantage.
  • A mature person who is able adapt to a fast paced regulated environment handling multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office tools and excellent communication skills.
  • Fast learner who is required to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Good Personal Attitudes in terms of being responsible, reliable, self-starter, honesty and integrity.
