Description

  • Our bankers are relationship managers dedicated to designing and delivering innovative solutions to meet clients strategic and financial priorities. They originate transaction opportunities, build and grow long-term relationships with financial institutions and non-bank FI clients. The team works closely with its partners in Global Markets, Transaction Services, Risk Management and Capital Markets Origination both locally and internationally.
Job Purpose:
  • To manage an assigned portfolio of FI/NBFI clients (Banks, Securities, Insurance, Asset Managers, etc), in identifying new opportunities to uptier client relationships in breadth and depth through clients' changing needs; and where applicable, to introduce and deliver Citi's strategic product capabilities
  • To build client loyalty by establishing a trusted advisor relationship, as the "first banker to call" who delivers high quality service, and consistently exceeds clients' expectations
  • Manage client relationships to achieve annual business targets by developing strategic account plans, promoting cross-selling opportunities and implementing key business initiatives
  • Familiarity on KYC and Compliance requirements for FI/NBFI clients
  • Marketing and cross selling banking products such as cash management services, securities and fund services, liquidity management, securities lending,  FX/derivatives, ECM/DCM and M&A opportunities
  • Ability to orchestrate efficient delivery of products and services to meet client's need
  • Undertake other assignments and projects as appropriate


Qualifications

  • At least 5-7 years experience in  client relationship management experience and/or relevant product experience for FI/NBFI
  • In-depth knowledge of banking industry and FI/NBFI sectors (preferred)
  • Sound knowledge of products for financial institutions
