Derivative Middle Office Analyst - Manager

Middle Office TCG (Trade Control Group) function resides within the Financial Markets Operations (FMO). Middle Office team provides coverage to Trading and Sales desks across ASEAN, Middle East and Africa. Product coverage includes Derivatives – FX Options, Rates & Credit, Fixed Income and FX/MM.

  • Provide the leadership and executes processes & controls in supporting:
  • Global & Regional Financial market products
  • Execute controls around the booking & lifecylcing of trades on a T+0/ +1 basis
  • E2E management of Clearing & Executing Brokerage matching/ reconciliation & fees process across all asset classes.
  • Multilateral & Bilateral Compression Support.
  • Ensure that the Derivatives FXRC transactions are booked correctly and validated in the Transaction Processing system.
  • Supporting dealing floor with strict adherence to FM Operations guidelines
  • Manage Front to back product oversight across Middle Office, Settlement and Confirmation as per the Country Support model.
  • Accountable Products: FX, NDF’s ,Cross Currency Swaps, Interest Rate Swaps, TRF’s, CDS, Total Return Swaps, FX Options, Electronic executions like Markit Wire, RTNS Etc.
    • New and Amended Trade Validation
    • Trade Life Cycling – Derivative Fixings / Option exercises
    • Reconciliation and Exception Queue Management
    • Query, Investigation and Escalation Management
  • First point of contact  for Financial Market Trading Desks/COO’s/Business Managers and Ops Senior Management providing expert knowledge in various operational duties
  • Business partner to peer operational groups (e.g. Validation & Assurance, Collateral Management & Settlements, CCP Operations)
  • Manage and handle client escalations
  • Implementation of enhancements to processes/procedures, including test packs, operational presentations, and roll out plans
  • Continuously seek to improve the existing processes and creating efficiencies in to maximize capacity of the team
  • Staff performance management, with responsibilities in appraisal and compensation, training and development
