Digital Banking Manager
  • This Digital Product/Service role is part of Digital Banking team in GCG, working in partnership with the various business stakeholders in delivering digital product/services for Citibank Malaysia on our Online Banking platform.  Will be responsible to drive/manage Online Banking or Mobile enhancements and innovation across the entire project life cycle, from the initiation stage through implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead collaboration with regional business, regional tech, and business stakeholders for regional initiatives and project lead for any local initiatives, in defining the project scope and objectives
  • Accountable to develop a comprehensive project plan to monitor and track progress ensuring all aspects are met including compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Accountable to create and maintain comprehensive project documentation that is auditable
  • Lead and responsible to establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors that support digital banking applications and systems
  • Responsible to obtain all necessary approvals for Project implementation
  • Communicate with Business and provide management reporting
  • Conduct training and education program for internal support units
  • Assess digital banking landscape competitiveness and work with region on enhancement initaitives
  • Provide advice and guidance for Online Banking/Mobile Banking services  as a subject matter expert
Qualifications and Competencies:
  • Degree/Diploma holder in relevant areas such as IT, Business, Finance,  Economics
  • Proven working experience in project management in the banking and information technology sector
  • Solid banking background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in digital banking projects or banking products
  • Good team player, comfortable working across teams and interacting with various departments
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skill
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
