Job Purpose *

Responsible in supporting application systems

Key Responsibilities *

  • Diagnose problem area and recover the incident within SLA
  • Escalate/Collaborate with other support teams to resolve reported incidents/problems
  • Contribute and review Root Cause Analysis and Permanent Corrective Action
  • Coordinate thorough testing of the developed solution
  • Manage the reported incident/problem until closure
  • Provide regular feedback and status of issues to the stakeholders
  • Configure automated system alerts and perform pro-active monitoring
  • Stand-by support for high-severity incident, and application availability/performance issues
  • Analysis of incident/problem tickets statistics
  • Tracking of open/aging tickets
  • Tracking of incident/problem SLA
  • Review application/infrastructure change being tabled to Change Authorisation Board
  • Propose improvement on system and process


Qualifications

Qualifications
(Basic Degree/ Diploma etc)
  • Diploma/Degree in Computer Science

Professional Qualification and/ or Regulatory, Licensing requirements

Relevant Work Experience
  • At least 5 years' experience in production support environment
  • Working experience with Apache, IBM Websphere or Oracle WebLogic are essential
  • Good knowledge in shell script is an advantage
